iQuote Update: Tape Drives and Storage Media

April 16, 2010

Now iQuote can handle more configuration specifications. We’ve added U320, SAS and (more) USB Tape Drives (plus Storage Media) to iQuote. These additions allow Distributors and Resellers to deliver a more comprehensive quote to customers without any post-export changes. Ultimately it will help to improve the Server to Options Attach Rate.

How does iQuote validate configuration specifications?
iQuote allows a non-technical salesperson to configure comprehensive quotes on IT products. Most of the options in iQuote are fully validated and only a few are offered with helpful text to guide selection (today).
