New version of the Mail Me export can now Mail Anyone! A few months ago HP iQuote introduced Mail Me: a way users could email themselves a copy of the Saved Quote. This has been improved to allow the user to replace their email address with any email address (most likely the person the quote is for). Hopefully very useful.
A wave of new HP ProLiant Gen 8 Server Ranges plus some Thin Client news. We’re behind on our product announcements so here’s a quick update. HP iQuote now features:
and there’s more in production including the HP ProLiant DL380e Gen8, BL465 Gen 8 and DL385p Gen 8.
For each of these new Ranges we’ll follow up with a more detailed Blog article.
HP Thin Clients: following a number of requests to include HP’s range of Thin Clients in HP iQuote this is happening. We should see a number of models appearing in early July for the UK initially. Not complex to configure but feedback was to allow HP iQuote users a single location to generate quotations and there is potential in the future to include in tools like Product Finder.

A review of last month’s figures. Well Europe accounted for 52% of New Quote volume so Americas was 48%. Here’s what else happened:
Lastly, Distributor staff remain the bulk of utilisation but Reseller staff is a growing segment. Some HP use and very new: End Users accessing HP iQuote.
HP iQuote now supports Collaborative and Proactive Care Packs. For HP ProLiants there is a new section called HW/SW Support. Within the section HP iQuote users will be able to select Collaborative or Proactive Care Packs. Or just use the Option Search function to quickly shortlist them.
Users will also notice that we’ve applied consistent product descriptions which really make your quote look more professional. If you are selling Fixed Care Packs HP iQuote will really help you !
Russian Language Support has been added to HP iQuote. As adoption of HP iQuote spreads across Europe we’ve now created an option for Russian Language on the Account Settings menu option.
To re-cap on available languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, Dutch and now Russian.
