TS Europe’s Advertising Campaign live in iQuote

May 16, 2011

Click on the Banner Adverts to access great educational collateral within iQuote. Many iQuote Users will have noticed Banner Advertisements in iQuote from the HP TS (Care Pack) team in EMEA (see image here). Click on them to get instant access to loads of sales information in PDF format. It explains customer requirements and how HP Care Packs can be combined to create compelling solutions for customers. So if you want to maximise each Sales Opportunity for HP Services everything you need is there.

To make it easier: when you click on an advert when quoting ProLiant Servers (most of them) iQuote will display recommended solutions and part numbers for that range.

iQuote EMEA HP Golden Ticket Incentive Winner #1

May 13, 2011

Tuesday 10th of May we ran the first HP Golden Ticket Incentive for HP EMEA Partners. To enter an iQuote User had to save or export a quote with 10 or more Qualified Options or Services attached (pitched). An additional bonus entry was available for HP UPS quotes on the day. There were plenty of people that quoted enough options but the winner was:

Daniel Mattingley of Westcoast, UK

Westcoast will be receiving a prize plus a much sought after iQuote Expert mug.

Look out for the next Golden Ticket Day in iQuote (the banners on the site turn Gold). It’s coming soon.

iQuote Save Quote Change

May 13, 2011

Now it’s possible to save a Quote in iQuote without having to provide a name for it. Just click the green Save icon and iQuote will save the quote, assign a unique Quote ID and other functions such as Margin and Export (and in the US in Microsoft Internet Explorer Copy to Clipboard) become available.

Saved quotes can be retrieved from iQuote to re-open or use as a Template (if re-opened they can be price/stock updated instantly). If you save without a name iQuote will create a Quote Name for you (e.g. DL180G6_110513123240).

We’d always recommend saving quotes and it takes seconds. Fewer seconds now as you don’t need to think of or enter a Quote Name.

UK Users: look out for the UPS Advert

May 13, 2011

Clicking it makes selling HP UPSs even easier. HP has developed a simple to use UPS Comparison tool and it’s available from iQuote. Look out for this advert, click on it, select the competitive product and HP’s UPS Comparison tool will show you the HP equivalent part number and bullet points as to why it is better.

Would you like to advertise in iQuote? If so please contact us via http://www.channelcentral.net.

iQuote Copy to Clipboard

May 10, 2011

A new way of getting quotes out of iQuote now available in the US. There is now a function in the US version of iQuote called Copy to Clipboard that works in Microsoft Internet Explorer (only). Save a quote, click on the icon (see graphic below) and iQuote puts quantities and part numbers on your clipboard. Helpful!

The Copy to Clipboard function will save valuable time for many customers that don’t want a fully formatted export document – they just want the parts and quantities as quickly as possible. Once clicked you can paste to Excel or an ERP/eCommerce application that supports HTML.

Non-US users won’t have to wait long for iQuote Copy to Clipboard. We will look to extend Browser support in the future.

Software Re-Classified in iQuote

May 10, 2011

Microsoft parts are now split out in iQuote so that HP ROK products are easier to locate from the Browse Menu. They used to be under the heading “Manageability – Software Packages”, but now Software has its own Top Level Classification (which is also better for other Software products such as HP). This new function will make it much easier for iQuote users to browse for products (Options Search (Custom Search) is often quicker though).
