Huddle
February 3, 2009I heard of Huddle through LinkedIn. It’s an online project management tool handling discussion threads, file versioning, tasks, calendar and a basic whiteboard. It was attractive to me not just because of the Software as a Service model but because the projects I run tend to involve staff, colleagues, customers (of course) and other agencies. Huddle enables me to build a virtual team and customers love it.
Our business is spread geographically (people) and another issue was that the sales pipeline and activity was typically in my head. So I use Huddle as a basic CRM tool and it really works well. I wonder if they have thought of marketing Huddle as a CRM tool? Each client is a discussion thread within a Project called Sales. One day I’ll need a CRM system but for now it’s basic Outlook, Excel and Huddle.net.
My name is Tim by the way….
